There is still time to submit papers to ICPSR's four student research paper competitions highlighting exemplary research papers based on quantitative analysis. Winning papers in each category are awarded $1,000 for first place, and $750 for second place.
- RCMD Research Paper Competition: for papers on issues relating to minorities in the United States, including immigrants, using data from the Resource Center for Minority Data.
- IFSS Research Paper Competition: for papers on any topic using data from the Integrated Fertility Survey Series.
- ICPSR Research Paper Competition: for papers on any topic using data from the ICPSR General Archive or Thematic Collections.
- NAHDAP Research Paper Competition: for papers on issues relating to drug addiction or HIV using data from the National Addiction and HIV Data Archive Program.
Submissions are due January 31, 2014.
