American's Daily Spending Down in September
A recent report from Gallup Economy says that American's self-reported daily spending has dropped from $95 in August to $84 in September, a decline of about 12 percentage points and the lowest point since February. The report is based on the Gallup Daily tracking survey of a randomly selected and nationally representative sample of 15,346 Americans by landline and cell phones from September 1 through September 30, 2013.
